Prices for Every Pocket
Grooming is available by appointment. We recommend that you have your dog bathed prior to check out time when boarding your dog here at Genesee Pet Resort. Your pup will get a free bath with a seven day (or longer) stay. Prices vary depending on the size and breed of your dog. It takes much longer to brush a husky than a shitzu, for example.
Each grooming service includes a nail trim and anal gland expression. If your dog only needs a bath but doesn’t need a nail trim, we’re happy to customize your service.
Starting Prices For Grooming
Grooming prices vary depending on the size of your dog and type of hair; small, medium, or large dogs with short or long hair.
Frequently Asked Questions
About one to two hours. This varies depending on the size of your dog and breed. For example, it’ll take a lot longer to brush a husky then it will to brush a boxer. We can give you an estimated timeframe when you drop-off your pup, or CONTACT us for more information.
Yes, we do take puppies. We recommend that your puppy is at least 12 weeks old as he/she had most of his/her shots by then.
Our groomer is here Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and every other Saturday. Kennel staff are able to give baths and do nail trims. Please call 262-521-2693 to schedule an appointment.
We can usually get your dog groomed during their stay and try to time it close to their pick up day. You can request a bath, nail trim and/or anal gland expression while they are here. Just let us know when you are dropping your dog off.
Yes. Just let us know when you drop off your dog in the morning that you’d like him/her to be groomed and we’ll have your dog ready before pick-up time.
All dogs need an occasional bath, but it is important to keep your dog brushed and combed especially if he/she has long hair. Regular brushing improves your dog’s skin tone, improves circulation, and makes his coat healthier and more attractive.
If you are unable to find the cause of any odor in your dog, it may be related to issue with anal glands or teeth. Ask your groomer or vet for more information.
You should also have your dog’s nails checked/clipped once per month. Walking on pavement will help wear them down naturally too.
